FAQs on Beautiful Skin

What can I do to make my skin look better?
There are a number of different ways to improve the appearance of your skin. We can recommend certain products, many of which are available in our office. Depending on your individual needs, options such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and laser therapy will improve your skin. Speak with our aesthetician about skin care treatments to fit your lifestyle.

What can be done with brown spots/sun spot/age spots?
Any brown spot that has changed in size and color should be checked out by a dermatologist. In the case of freckles or sun spots, cosmetic treatment is often effective. The best options for you will depend on your lifestyle, such as how much time you spend outdoors and how much time your have for treatment and recovery. Skin care therapy can be approached with skin care products, microdermabrasion, chemical peels or laser.

What can I do about my broken veins on my face?
Laser is one of the best ways to take care of the veins. It is quick and easy and, in most cases, only requires one to two treatments.

What can be done to shrink my pores?
On a daily basis, use skin care products with glycolic acid and/or tretinoin. This will help minimize pores by keeping them unclogged. LaserGenesis can also help; it is a series of treatments, usually five, that not only helps to minimize pores but also helps with fine lines and redness.

Can lasers treat blonde hair yet?
You might see advertisements stating that all hair colors can be treated; however the results for treating blonde or white hair are less than desirable. Minimal reduction should be expected.
